Early Years
The Early Years Foundation Stage at Benjamin Adlard includes Nursery and Reception. We believe that children learn best in early years through play and exploration. Children are encouraged to join in activities, to be independent and to make choices.
We provide plenty of indoor and outdoor learning spaces, where activities are carefully planned to challenge, motivate and develop children’s skills in line with the Early Years Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Our approach combines child-led activities and adult-led education, based on active learning and problem-solving. Clear routines are in place to support the children as they progress through the Foundation Stage.
